Jesus Makes a Final Appearance

³⁶ While they were saying these things, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” ³⁷ But they were startled and terrified, thinking they saw a ghost. ³⁸ Then he said to them, “Why are you frightened, and why do doubts arise in your hearts?

Doubt

Here we go – seeds of doubt: only God knows what will grow

It is not really all about; what man reasons or what he knows

Purpose-driven but for whom; unless for Christ all seems right

If only for self-understanding than all will dissipate in the night

Is it mine to reason why? Should that really make a difference?

If the field is plowed but not by me. Am I there to be a hindrance?

The sower spreads the seeds freely, but I can’t control the wind

Some of them are floating freely in places where I’ve never been

So should I question where to go if I’m driven by His Merit?

Maybe it’s not for me to know, but just to obey in His Service

Guessing what seems right to do, surely is not lead by The Spirit

“So let us reason together “, says The Lord. Why I am so nervous?
