Doubt

Do I want people to see,

to see the real me?

If I let them know my heart?

where should I start?

What would they have to say

after being with me a day?

Am I too early or too late?

Will I find love or only hate?

Do I want people to see,

to see the real me?

Am I going to talk too much

and end up being just a crutch?

I want to be accepted

but is that to be expected?

After being alone for so long,

I'm scared that I'll always be wrong.

Instead of running around,

I just want to be found.

Do I want people to see,

to see the real me.
