Doubt remains

Small I am in the world

Tender is my skin

Innocent are my eyes

Helpless I am to those surrounding me

Small I still am

Will still mine

Power long gone

Wounds from words that will not heal

Small no more

Jugged by all

Guilty to my peers

I am only human and not seen as such

Small has long past

Bold are my words

Swift is my being

Yet those wounds of long ago drain me dry with doubt
