Doubts

Trapped against a chain- link fence,

I pray to God for mercy.

All I want is answers,

All I need is truth, all I have is questions.

Who am I?

I long to scream, to shout,

To feel,

To be anything but empty.

How can I hurt,

When I cannot love

Myself,

My God, my friends, my family?

Am I here for some

Mysterious purpose,

A Divine plan

To which I remain ignorant?

Am I here to hurt

those around me,

Or,

Am I here to hurt myself?

How can I knoe

The right road

To follow,

When given a choice?

Why

Am

I

Alone?

Are

You

Even

Listening?

Do

You

Even

Exist?
