Doubts

What if I'm obnoxious? What if I screw up? I take too long My rhythm's wrong And I'll never crack you up. What if they're pretending? What if it's not real? I always think about myself Of what I know, what else? Never think of how they feel. I'm pretty dense and desperate, My timing's pretty odd I'm dry as burnt biscuit dough, Fail to recognize the flow, And screw up my last shot. Why do you bother talking? Why try to be my friend? You'll find I'm bitter and a bore, Worse even than the ones before, You'll regret it in the end.
