Dove Road

Dove Road

By Taylor Hemby

There was no bread crumb trail to lead me

No magic mirror to show me the way

But here I am

Standing on two feet

No one else here

It’s just me

I could’ve kept speeding down the road I felt comfortable on

I could’ve ran down the same track

But here I am

On the road where it’s okay to fly
