Dove Theory

A dove, arriving on a branch for the first time. Only a section of what has grown to be an elaborate design. Healthy roots seem to be just that, healthy roots. The product: a force of nature, push and pulled By the randomness of life, the imperfections of the world. Only for a second does the Dove regard the panorama. After that second, it’s back on that limb. It realizes all that it’s left behind, but the dove flew because it had a purpose Well… The dove flew. And it’s not where it was before, but where it can start anew. Home. And it’s not what he lost but what he can gain. She looks again. Everything. And immediately a feeling of importance swells through the dove, Like it was meant to be there. But never does it stop and think about all the other branches. But does it even matter? And what’s a purpose without the man behind it. And what’s a purpose if losing it helps you find it. The dove sits on the blank slate and begins to live, Be one with the breeze, the trees, and if man ever gets lost Or if the dove begins to blindly rest, idly standing by, doing nothing Just remember, that the branch could have fallen… At least the branch didn’t fall. And it thinks… The branch could have fallen. And when the dove relocates his purpose, he shall spread his wings to Spread his message. And the world will prepare for whenever he decides to take off. And it’s not where it was before, but where it can start anew. And it’s not what he’s lost, but what he can gain. And thanks to the force of nature, push and pulled by exactly that which constitutes the dove, He’ll always have a home. A dove, arriving on a branch for the second time. On only a section of what has grown to be an elaborate design. And everything looks different. Healthy roots seem to be just that, healthy roots.
