Down

Walk down the street.

See people you like.

Skins of color.  Colors of skin.

Shapes.  Round, stick, pear.

Heights.  Bang heads on ceilings.  Bang heads on tables.

They are you.  Image in the mirror.

Spot someone.

Catches your eye.

Get uncomfortable.

They differ.

They are odd.

You looked.

You freeze up.

Look away.  Look away.

Avoid them!

What is so wrong?

Nothing is wrong.

You are wrong!

Their Syndrome is Down.

Why aren’t you down too?

Include.

B friend.
