Down Completely
Cool air touching the end of our souls
Drugs turning pupils into black holes
The life we’ve lined up is taking its toll
And soon we’ll be dead, with our boats and gold
Like Egyptians, theorists, confronting the cold
We’re going to die young and beautiful, no need to get old
We’re going to die with a passion; we’re going to die bold
We’re going to find out the true worth of our souls sold
If our life was a car we did one-sixty and then rolled
Flipped five times, end for end, and caught fire
Call the blue and green flames our funeral pyre
Call the thoughts on our pasts our depressions, our mires
I’ll take a hooker with me and say I found love…for hire
But fuck it all; when I am gone I guess I’ll go out a liar
Be known for fake stories of me as a child
Breaking my morals and screaming with style
Though in reality I suppose I have never been mild
I’ve never killed anybody but I’ve never been aisled
So in the end fuck it all because I am the child
Of a lesser known God, of the dead and the wild
