Down the Rabbit Hole

Once upon a time in 1865,

There was a young girl who was just happy to be alive.

She fell into a rabbit hole that was unseen,

And came out into the year 2017.

In this "new world," she was surprised to see

The place she once knew had gone completely crazy.

People were killing themselves and one another.

Children were running away from their father and mother.

Families did not have houses. Kids were not in school.

Teenagers started using drugs beacuse they thought it made them cool.

People were cheating the governement system.

Some people lived their whole life trying to play the victim.

There were so many issues politicians could not fix.

Alice wished she had the Queen of Hearts or one of her tricks.

"Off with their heads," the queen would say,

But Alice knew this was not the way

Violence would never solve a thing.

What the world needed, was the one true King.

Eventually, Alice found her way back home.

She was glad to be away from a society that had turned so wrong.
