Downfall

My people prayed on my Downfall As I stood tall through the rainfall Putting wholes in the ground yall Family all wrong Friends become family And family become the enemy Sitting down at the table g Dear God where the plate at I thank you for the bread that you gave me though No loyalty I stood tall No loyalty I stood tall My life under the gun Somewhere under the sun Never made a bad move Cause every move that I made was the right one Standing tall through my downfall That I caused through the rainfall Felt good to be out y'all Then I prayed to go back yall But I die before that y'all Worked hard for the thangs that I got And I still ain't got shit Except the tattoos on my chest I pray everyday for the best Then I learn the rest Don't ever take the test If you do just pass it Don't fail like the rest My people prayed on my downfall As I stood tall through the rainfall Putting wholes in the ground yall Family all wrong Friends become family And family become the enemy Sitting down at the table g Dear God where the plate at I thank you for the bread that you gave me though No loyalty I stood tall No loyalty I stood tall
