Dowry hypocrisy

Girls are the future n they must be respected.. But its so ashame when there's a rape case being neglected.. Ignored n not even inspected r many case of dowry.. Blody mummas boy who charge money to get married.. U already taking their daughter still u want her to carry.. A big bag full of money it sounds so scary.. She aint a piece of property but actually a fairy.. Who comes into ur lyf n brings happiness n glory.. Story of prince charming she used hear from her daddy... Prince charming my ass he is only intrested in the upcoming audi.. Audi or honda city are grooms price tag.. With lacs of rupees in a white decorated bag.. Some girls refused to marry or some simply cried.. But these fucktards get fascinated by the bribe n not the bride.. ~~zahid

Zahid, Interesting use of bride/bribe--that was definitely the most captivating part of this poem, so I think it was smart to save it for the end. While the general message is clear, my advice to you would be to remove the "rape case" line of this poem in order to show a focused point about the bribe/bride. As the idea of an ignored rape case is an incredibly strong image in and of itself, it detracts from the essence of the poem, in my opinion. Keep writing!
