This city holds my most memorable days
It taught me from my childish ways
Never on schedule, but always on time
As long as everything was perfect and in line
I will never be broken down
As long as I see myself wearing the crown
The goal is just west of my street
So sooner or later were destined to meet
When the weather begins to shift
I realize my life is still adrift
With no founded purpose, but lots of guidance
While pondering when the earth will come to a subsidence
It’s the things we remember that give the world shock
Just as the people who appear in dozens and watch the clock tic toc
Do we have time to intertwine and forget about past times?
I capture the height of my success, and continue my upward climb
