Dr Hunter

To us all you are more than just a doctor,
The boss man, the glue, the rock to us.
Your infectious smile, quick wit and laughter,
You make even the stressful of days that bit brighter.

A true Scotsman since adopted by Canadians,
A brimming mind, travelled soul and a fountain of knowledge,
We appreciate you dearly and for this we here pay you homage.

We welcome your stories and many tales of the prairie,
A teacher and mentor to our BATUS family.
A listening ear on a difficult day,
You forever have time and for this we would like to say,

What makes you most special and sets you apart,
Is you ferocious humour and the gentlest of hearts.

From difficult patients, long hours and broken printers,
You continue each day the same as the last,
With a wide grinned smile and endless class.

Dr Hunter you certainly are second to none
And for this we will all miss you once we have gone.
Thank you wholeheartedly for all that you do,
And thank you some more just for being you.
