Dr. Seuss

He sat, writing and illustrating away.

I wonder what was going through his mind.

Perhaps he was thinking of a day,

Living a simpler time.

This man, was as creative as an elephant,

And as smart as an owl.

He was not arrogant,

and was not foul.

He created for the children.

He wrote for all.

He did this for the spirits of a billion,

So that we may laugh when we fall.
