Drag Race

As I pull up to the red light

I wait there with her

Soon another car pulls up ready for a fight

3,2,1 and were off in a blur

She’s says don’t be lured in

She’s says slow down don’t be brash

Then we hit the curb and spin

We began to crash

She’s thrown, I’m thrown

Everything goes black after I hit my head

I wake up all alone

I get the news, she’s dead

I will forever feel the guilt in my heart

But this incident has given me a chance to be smart
