The Dragon

The dragon had kept me from leaving here. "Get back to work or you will be sorry.", The dragon said. So I listened in fear. The dragon had me busy with plenty. My tools were at my hand to continue, However I was drained of any hope. For I knew not how to go on once due. Instead of trying to escape I'd mope. Alas, the third is when I had escaped. Freedom was mine and Ah!--it was lovely. I could live now in peace and not confined. Living after that was then easy. The dragon's work had made me stronger and, Granted me the strength to govern the land.
