Dragonflies

The dragonflies in my stomach brought a nausea so strong I could feel it burning my throat. The burn marks grew daisies but I felt them wilt and wither when I said your name for the first time in months and suddenly, the burning nausea turned to fire and the wilted daisies turned to ash and all I was left with were dragonflies and your lies.

And now my tongue is burnt.
