The Dragon's Fire

The rules don’t even apply

When the people come out

Nobody really heeds

They only listen to one

Who acts like their unparalleled

The defendant is put on the stand

They listen with content

Down goes the plaintiff

All the evidence goes down with them

For the person claims

That respect only goes one way

They ignore the questions

That go against

And everybody leaves okay

Except for one

The one that’s damaged

Left scorched

By the dragon’s will

The burns heal

Although it leaves a scar

The wound is closed

But never forgot
