Draped with Greenery

Sitting on the steps of an obscure city in Wales

Abandoned by the palace and just walking through these pastoral hills

Caught up in my mind I forgot to notice the life

On the cobbles didn't see the passersby

I looked at flashing lights inside a toy

Then forced myself away that's not the right choice

I climbed into a van, kept my head down

Then watched the mossy zoetrope spin round and round

And I worried, skipping stones

I felt guilty all alone

In the water so I stood

Underneath a rainy gray Welsh sky
