Draw Me Closer
Rid me of my idols, rid me of my distractions, to draw me closer to your heart.
Draw me closer to your Word. I wanna know and love you more and more; so draw me closer.
"Pull me a little closer, take me a little deeper, I wanna know your heart." (Closer ~ Maverick City Ft. Brandon Lake)
All I want is all you are; draw me closer and closer to you, Jesus.
"Not for a minute was I forsaken - the Lord is in this place." (Here Again ~ Elevation Worship)
"I don't want anything else, I don't need anyone else, you are my one thing." (Give Me Jesus ~ UPPERROOM)
I want to know you more, Jesus.
My longing desire is to know you more and more. I want to be so infatuated with your love over and over again until my very last breath.
Draw me closer, Lord, draw me closer.
Draw me closer so I can know more of who you are, Lord, Jesus.
Philippians 3:7-9 ~ "But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ, and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith."
