Dream

All I can do is lie there

On the ground

Hoping the earth will swallow me

Six feet under

Food for the flora

Nothing but an echo

of faux eyes

and a trick heart

Impenetrable steel to others

But an empty home to me

Heart beating

Mind racing

Still moving

All I can do is dream

of a different life

Where I was never fucked over

of a fairytale fit for a blonde princess

All I want is to slumber

And dream a little more

Just for one more lifetime please

Long enough to be forgotten

Because

I am so tired

And yet

I have travelled

Nowhere
