The Dream

I am standing on the smooth, soft sand, on the edge where the cool water barely kisses my feet.

My eyes are closed and I'm breathing in the salty ocean air, almost tasting it.

I can distinctly hear a few seagulls off in the distance, but it doesn't bother me at all.

I am the only person on the beach for miles, the sound of the waves are tremendously soothing.

             This is my heaven.

I take a step into the ocean, ready for the waves to engulf me as I go under.

But just then, I wake up.
