dream

Finding the stretch in between notes

inhale and sweat falls down my rib cage side

twinkling on a high note hang

holding as I slide down on my lung kiss

through each quarter note

my under arms are wet

and as I inhale , the little girl in the first row is watching

she is holding on to my thought in between the rests

she is watching each exhale , timing in her mind

so she herself can practice to be a great singer

like that woman that I stand here in the light dreaming to be
