"Dream"

“I CAN’T DO THIS ANYMORE!” That's all I heard in my head since morning. Repeatedly like a broken record and sadly I've began to believe just that. I've become so lost, so trapped in my own mess I forgot what time zone I was in. It was something about that flower that caught my eye, something about how it swung lively but it was also something about that flower that got me where I am now. Damn. How could something so elite turn out to be so dreadful in sight? “ oh my god ” Is all I thought, “ why? Why did you do this to yourself?” And yet, maybe now thinking of it, why did it take so long? Sitting here staring at nothing when all along I thought it was something but by far was truly looping; Looping in time now that record will be stuck forever. The thought of blinking but with each blink it's my mind speaking to me, telling me all the things I should've said to myself before I…….; The urgency to laugh came upon me. I laugh so hard which made my eyes bleed, bleed a deep red a red of pain and foolish despair. This is crazy but that flower was crazier and to think. Hmph. “ just a glance at that stupid ole thing”. It probably was just a test, a test to see if I would follow behind and get caught up like the rest but oh no not this time. The stars are out and I finally snap back to life, it took all my might to pry my eyes open and in disbelief;  that flower, that flower that could've killed me was nowhere to be found. All along I was right for a change! It was all a dream, one of the worst dreams ever dreamt by me.
