The Dream

I will forget you when I open my eyes

Another world, another dream

Another chance at making sense of broken things

I'll wonder more about your face than anything. What were the colors in your eyes?

Details swirl. My heart is a blur

Wishing, waiting

Trudging through the pain of what is now
