Dream

Jose from Buffalo

The top home run hitter

In the American League.

His fans jumped at him

Hoping to get a piece of his body

He was loved in his hometown.

Sports Reporters running out of ink writing about him

The bat in harmony with the ball.

Jose talked to the ball

Coming at him

Releasing a sensation.

Home runs to deep center

To deep right

To deep left

Ball travelling in all directions,

The field his partner in the game,

Holding the bat tight.

Jose loved when the cheerleaders

Travel all the way from Buffalo

To see him play.

Two balls on his side

Holding his bat with excitement.

Hitting another home run,

Coming home a hero.
