The Dream
Now as I sit in the fiery pits of hell,
never again will I have to dwell.
No more dreaming of the past,
I'm so glad that didn't last.
Now everyday I'm inflicted with pain,
but that's better than going insane.
I get tortured everyday,
and the pain will never go away.
But no more will the pain of a broken heart bother me,
just the pain of the flames I see.
I'm glad I'm in Hell,
and I'm glad we said farewell.
Anythings better than getting tortured everyday,
but I just had to get away.
Now I don't have to deal with the pain of you,
but I hope like hell you do.
As I awake from this dream,
I find that me and Satan are not a team.
I wake up to even more pain,
and the worsening of the horrible rain.
Now I'm drenched in my pain again,
I keep waiting for it to end.
I will always have this pain of you and me,
that's the only thing I see.
This is the part that I dread,
as I turn out the lights and lay down my head.
But maybe again I'll dream,
and me and Satan will again be a team.
So I do it anyway,
good night, good day.
