Dream Job

Each person has the desire to change the world. To make a difference. To leave a footprint in the sand of life. Kind of cheesy, but you get the point. Our ultimate goal is to find a dream job that benefits society, yet is enjoyable to us. For me, my dream job has always been to become an English Teacher. My most vivid memories as a little girl consist of playing make-believe school with my neighborhood friends and siblings. And of course, I played the role of the teacher. There's just something about seeing the look on another's face after you explain a new and exciting concept. To achieve my dream job, I need a Bacholer's Degree in Education from a four-year university. But I plan to furthur my education after that and get my Master's so I can educate a wider variety of students. However, every situation brings about obstacles. As for becoming a teacher, obstacles include heavy workloads and long hours of studying. I already have the right amount of support from family, peers, and teachers. But I would need more financial support to make my dream a reality. It has been my lifelong career goal to become a teacher, and I fully understand that it will take some time to get there. But it will all be worth it. If it means there will be obstacles, I am up for the challenge. Teachers have the best jobs in the world because they get the opportunity to educate young minds and have the all the power to make a difference.
