A Dream of Romance and Night

Night holds me. Unstifling. Compassionate of my fatigue. He lays me down gently. My light glows one last time as we say goodbye. He kisses me, leaving a cool breath, and I sigh. Warmth leaving my lungs. Our colors stroke one another until he has masked mine. I retire in his arms until they fade with the dew of morning. I gaze lovingly into his bright eyes. Once again, alone but rested, I begin my day.
