The Dream State

To be real
Does something have to happen?
What can be defined as real?
Does a feeling count?
Maybe the way that something
appears to be?
If you can visibly see a disturbance
does that make it Real?
I stand on the edge
of self-destruction and depression.
But when does it become real?
When will it be taken seriously?
Must I jump over the boundary
for common ground to be established?
Will you still accept me if I did?
Have you ever accepted me?
Does their need to be an explaination?
Can't I just be the way I am because
that is who I am? But what am I?
Am I depressed? Am I morbid?
I am a mix of both sad and curious
blended with a passion for the hatred
of herself with imaginative attributes.
I am what you can't see even when
you are with me, because all you
see when you look inbetween my
eyelids is a reflection of yourself.
You will never see me, and could
not see me even if I were to show
you who I really am because you
can't understand Her, the part of
me that you have never seen.
You will never know Her
No, not unless reality
intertwines itself with fantasy.
