Dream while I'm awake

I came to the ocean I followed it's waters I dived in And I didn't come back up right away I got lost in it's waves I found myself at the altar Down on my knees Praying to someone I didn't believe in Or that they needed me Or that they loved me I gave you my soul I gave you my heart But I wrote it down I guess I never gave it to you actually I never gave it to you actually Cuz I, Lay in my bed And mull things over And wish to God I pray to God That I could actually do something Other than dream while I'm awake
