A dream in the wind

As the wind gently pulls the wisps of my hair

I feel like a dandelion seed - floating in mid-air

Among all the other dreams and wishes being blown about

I feel a little lost, a little lonely, and full of doubt

Will I ever make it there

Will I ever suceed

Just a little dream - floating by weed

I have so many hopes caged inside my heart

Behind my ribs they flutter

Will they ever come out

I am trying to get somehwere

Will the wind let me down

Is my head in the clouds

Will I crash with a thud

I am ready to unlock - and let my hopes flutter out

I am just a little weed, being blown and tossed about.
