A Dream to Work For
A dream
A hallway, my heels softly clicking as I walk
The polished table
A clipboard
Perched precariously on the edge
Waiting to be taken
To absorb information-knowledge-experiences
What can one person do in a world that is so large?
How can one person make an impact when time is so fleeting?
The dream that one day
I will be walking, perhaps absentmindedly,
Thinking, reflecting, wondering
And find the answer
The ephemeral glimpse of a solution
That will save the lives of millions
A doctor.
A researcher.
A life-saver.
One life-long goal.
A dream to work for.
