The Dreamer

When I look in the mirror I see: A football player ready to score the game winning touchdown The game ending decision that gives the opponent a frown A police officer ready to make the arrest The one that would pass the justice test A firefighter putting out the dangerous fire Yeah, then I'll be the one the people admire A doctor that saves people from death The one that gives them another breath An entertainer more joy and laughter in life That stays people away from their bitter strife Maybe someday, but not today I can only work at it the best way I can Just hit hard and hope for the best It would be a challenge, but it is also life Even though it didn't happen yet I will strive to get to the top Until everytime I look in the mirror I'm one step closer Right now until my goals are complete I am just THE DREAMER
