Dreamers

I was told

I had to have it all figured out by ten years old

You heard

You have to lie to yourself to get the gold

What a crazy world we live in.

One that threatens us with fear instead of guiding us with love.

Take my advice if you don't want to live at a price you have to keep,

your head high.

In order to succeed you cannot bow at their knee you have to live,

your own carefree.

Others will be cruel to you

Have the power to breakthrough.

Live and joyful be

Be that mystic ocean blue,

drawing everyone to you

Because dreamers

LIVE and NEVER die
