dreaming
when I was born I had liver problems and I nearly died
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
when I was seven my dreams were stolen
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
when I was bullied I was alone and scared
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
when I was antisocial I was mocked and frowned upon
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
when my own aunt and cousins hated me and made fun of me
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
when I was in junior high an opportunity was given to me AVID
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
when I entered high school I learned about friendship
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
when I turned sixteen I knew what I wanted to be a pediatrician
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
when 2013 arrived the world was supposed to end yet I am still here
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
I am currently a junior soon to be a senior
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
I want to go to college to accomplish my dream
I kept fighting wishing dreaming
I have many dreams that will not be broken
I will keep fighting wishing dreaming
