dreaming

I dreamed a dream of you and I

and in that dream we were happier than most fools

“Come what may, our love will survive!” we cried to the world

But then we forgot the beginning in the end.

We forgot the you and I.

And as I awoke to being in your arms

I vowed to never forget the

You and I.
