Dreaming
I walk along dancing fire, I am scolded.
I swim on the edge of a mountain, I am torn.
I laugh to a blue hummingbird, I am not real.
You yell and scream at raging trees, they hear nothing.
You tear the seams of the sun, they use melodies.
You fight the sparkling life, they only taunt to see.
I envision breathing in the ocean.
I envision talking amongst inhabitants of other beings.
I envision learning the impossible, proving all wrong.
I envision, I dream, I hope, I want, I trust- and yet still I wait.
Is what I do not the criteria you wish to obtain?
Use melancholy to wash away the faces of tears.
I wait… and nothing breathes.
Leave this soul alone, and no longer shall it be taken.
The images flash at me like a quick snapshot.
I wish I could see, so I would not have to guess.
Oh, how a rose is merely a flower? Why not more?
Those who attempt to prosper find knowledge thrust to them.
Hold out your seven and trade them for a good million.
Thank the stars for guidance, but be kind when they ignite.
Juggle your emotions, but flip them over a down.
I hear the solitude, almost a silence making a sound.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and it’ll be simply embraceable.
Mix my words to wander across sands.
Defeat unknown to show your reality.
Allow men to run to the ends for opposing.
They hear, they hear, but all just races.
You say, you say, but anything crashes.
I run, I run, but everything clashes.
He sees, he sees, but nobody trusts.
My head is spinning, and I can’t think straight;
What has become of the world I dream now?
Where nothing seems to make sense.
