Dreaming

Off in my own world either day or night,
Images flow behind my open eyes.
Over reality and stirs a fright.
Never thought I was in for this surprise.

Can’t tell if I am sleeping or awake.
My life no longer feels like it is real,
I tell myself it is just a mistake.
I can’t distinguish what I see or feel.

I am so tired but was just sleeping,
Or was it? Could it all just be a dream?
I don’t know what to think, it’s all blending,
Images streak through my world like a beam.

People are here and so grows their worries.
That or it’s all just fading memories.
