Dreaming About the Colors of Love
Dreaming about the colors of love
Because apparently everybody
I mean everybody knows about love.
Or so we think,
You see we all think we are in love with something,
For children it is their parents
For parents it is their children
For toddlers it is their imaginary friend
For kids going through stuff it is poetry
For teenagers it is their high school sweet heart
For elders it is their high school sweet hearts that they actually married
For photographers it is nature
For librarians it is books
For chefs it is the love for food
For people in the arts it is the love of sharing their love to others
For dogs it is their most juiciest bone
For bees it is bright flowers
For bears it is honey
For Christians it is God
For God it is nature
For all of us it is life
But I am here to tell you about the real love
Because love is not just simply the color red.
Oh no love is every color ever invented
and some colors we do not even know exist
Love is the color blue
The color of the sky
The color of the ocean
The color of all things big and bright
Just looking up at the sky or down at the ocean
You never know when it is going to end
So you know the love you have between that special
Someone or something
Will never go away
And it brings you at peace
So blue is the color of love
Love is the color green
The color of the forest
The color of the fields
The color of nature and all the things that come with it
You stop to wonder how did these creatures get here
But you are really wondering
How did our love get here
So green is the color of love
And of course as we all know
Love is the color red
The color of roses
The color you cant escape of Valentines day
The color that is emotionally intense
The color that stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing pattern
That when you see it
Something reassures you that everything will be fine
That the love is only meant for you
So red is the color of love
And so I’m
Dreaming about the colors of love
