Dreaming and ...

1 Corinthians 3:18

18 Guard against self-deception, each of you. If someone among you thinks

he is wise in this age, let him become foolish so that he can become wise.

  Dreaming and …

Dreaming is a certain thing ... but what is an illusion?

Just some thoughts so farfetched ... to be injected by the mind.

Is it not flying on eagle wings ... a simple foregone conclusion?

Or is it more an idea so etched ... as things desired are primed?

Who would I like to be ... and how would I be content?

Would it be through possessions … or to be admired by men?

What can I really see ... and what can I pretend?

Do I like suppression … by the one I might have been?

Do I like my friends ... or love myself more?

Are my friend’s acquaintances ... to justify my being?

Is it my selfish trend … that closes every door?

Creating all distance in the thoughts of human beings

To be one with all ... is a simple command

That ties hearts together … before the sun is set.

It is the altar’s call ... simply written in the sand

That withstands all weather ... as storms of life are fed.

To change into the other ... the one I ought to be

Really seems impossible ... as it has to be done.

Formed in my mother… and called to be free

To make all things possible ... through Christ the Son.
