Dreams
Because Martin Luther King had a dream,
The fertile dreams of the future never looked so bleak
Torture on my dreams led to hopes becoming weak
Unforeseen situations has led to this mind state
Success to failure became my undesirable fate
The phenomenon that once had me captivated
Has faded into the past because she hesitated
Along with her were my hopes and dreams
Took my last breath with unheard screams
All because Martin Luther King had a dream.
