Dreams

Location

Shadowed dark skies roar over head,

as I lay here dreaming in my bed.

In my mind I stand in a field of flowers,

and I become lost in daydream for countless hours.

I'm surrounded by dark colors and hues,

swaying petals, and nature's electric energy fuse.

Weeping willows mark the edges of the plain,

sparkling slighty from the light warm rain.

Faeries dance among the twinkling stars,

making me happy to be away from the city and cars.

I slowly blink, as I wake, and stare at my ceiling,

no matter what, I'll never stop believing.
