Dreams
Alone with the timeless darkness as my copanion
I dwell on the dreams of my life,
The reasons I go to school, try,
Why I must never forget myself.
Without my dreams of the ever possible infinities in my life,
Where would I lie?
That's when I realized,
My dreams are aging relics of my future.
I live, I smile, I cry, I breathe,
Every moment because of the present.
The shades of my past retreat
Under the everlasting light
Of these moments.
The objects that once obstructed my view
Have been diminished to dust,
Leaving only the vibrant colors in this world.
Nothing could rebuild,
Those bleak walls.
