Dreams

I heard your voice over my morning alarm. Then it was silence. I picked myself off of the hard wood floor, Got dressed Reached for the door and felt you on its brassy doorknob. This is what I get for dreaming of you. All night long you swam through my mind. I'm not complaining. I love the dreams about you. I just miss you when I wake up. Maybe next time I won't. I'll just sleep until my dreams of you Creep into my room next to me And I'll ay there in the preasence of their reality. Then the dreams will wake me just to tell me that they've come true.
