Dreams

I'm alone in a room

A place where emotions pour.

It's dark;

Lonely.

Desperately, I search.

A hint

A light

An answer.

I'm alone in a room

A place where feelings are intensified

It's cold;

Painful.

Slowly, I let go.

The fears

The pain

The loss

I’m alone in a room

A place where thoughts run wild.

It's quiet;

Eerie.

Silently, I listen.

Voices

Cries

Tears

I’m alone in bed

A place where I dream

Its safe,

Yet terrifying.

Deeply I sleep.

The cold feeling pours over me

Darkness fills my sight

And silence sets my mind free.
