Dreams

Ecclesiastes 5:7

Just as there is futility in many dreams,
so also in many words.
Therefore, fear God!

Dreams.

Is it time to go and move along in silence?

When memories outnumber long lost dreams.

Is the purpose of it all to live in remembrance,

of things I wished happened in life to me?

But many wants … I never accomplished.

Looking back now … where they that good?

Just a difference for better … never finished

and just by many barely understood.

Yesterday someone spoke convincing:

"Every one can believe what they will“

Reasoning inspired by the senseless

and the world accepts this as a thrill.

Are the things I understand worth keeping?

Do others sense the riches in my heart?

Or in my actions without appreciation

as Jesus rules quietly from near or afar?

Do I need any dreams now to live to glory

in my Christ and the Salvation He gives?

Forget my wants to show a better story!

about Jesus' love and how to truly live.
