Dreams

Falling, falling fast

Like water that I cannot grasp

Slowly growing, a hole is forming

On my heart that is still mourning

Suddenly I stand to see

All there is in front of me

A broken heart

A broken mind

Born from when you left me behind

Fading, fading fast

A snake around my neck at last

Suddenly I wake to see

You were right there next to me

A look of worry on your face

As my tears continue to race

You hold me close to you I know

It was a dream, I was alone
