Dreams

No longer do I have play dates

But rather periods of study.

There is more emphasis on never being late

And my future seems kind of muddy.

All I have cared about is a 4.0,

Which has led to immense stress.

I should have been taking it slow

Resolving much of my distress.

I have taken some time to think

About what success really means,

And after enjoying a refreshing drink

I have realized all of my dreams.
